Al Christofferson

Al Christofferson is a 1930 graduate of Lincoln High School.  He managed the Independent Basketball Team and the City Hockey Team in Thief River Falls in the 1930’s.  He was a member of the Old Arena Hockey Rink Committee and was a charter member of the States Dominion Hockey League.

     Al was the first radio broadcaster of the Minnesota State Hockey Tournament in 1947.  He broadcast Regional and State Hockey Tournaments for several years.

     Al served as the treasurer of the Thief River Falls Sports Boosters Club for 10 years and was head chef and organizer of the Pigskin Preview for many years.

     Al has been an enthusiastic supporter of all Lincoln High School sports for many years.
