Allan Williamson

Mr. Williamson is a 1949 graduate of Lincoln high School.  He was regarded as an outstanding athlete.  He participated in football, track and basketball and was a three-sport letterman for the Prowlers.  He quarterbacked the football team, was all-region guard in basketball and scored points in the State Track Meet.  He played Junior League Baseball in the summer and was a member of the Thief River Falls Thieves Baseball team.  His leadership qualities were evident.  During his senior year, he co-captained the football, basketball and track teams.

     Allan attended Gustavus Adolphus College and the University of North Dakota.  He received a B.S. degree in Commerce in 1954 and an M.A. degree in Business Administration in 1955 from the University of North Dakota.  While attending UND he set a track record in the high jump.

     Mr. Williamson served in the U.S. Air Force and is presently President of Banta Book Group, a division of Banta Corporation, Menasha, Wisconsin.
