Chelsea Treboniak
Chelsea Treboniak (Haviland), a 2002 Lincoln High School graduate, was a varsity letter winner in swimming, diving, basketball, and track. She was a four time state diving champion, regional record holder, and state record holder. During her senior seasons, Chelsea served as the captain of the swimming, diving, and basketball teams. Academically, Chelsea was named to the All-State teams in all four sports. She also served as the President of the Student Senate and National Honor Society.
Upon graduation, Chelsea attended the United States Military Academy at West Point. Chelsea became the most decorated diver in the history of Army Swimming and Diving by winning eight Patriot League Diving Championships and sweeping both the one and three meter competitions in all four of her seasons. She is the lone four time recipient of the Patriot League Diver of the Meet. Chelsea holds three Patriot League diving records and was Army’s first female diver to advance to the NCAA Championships. In 2006, Chelsea served as the captain of the swimming and diving team and received her diploma from President George W. Bush. Chelsea graduated with honors and was awarded the Army Athletic Award for solidifying her first place ranking in physical fitness.
Chelsea began her career in the United Stated Army with a transition to the sport of triathlon. In 2007, Chelsea competed for Team USA at the World Championships in Switzerland. Her triathlon endeavors were followed by a deployment with the 82nd Airborne Division to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She safely returned to the United States in order to complete her first Ironman race in Cozumel.
In 2012, Chelsea was inducted into the Army Sports Hall of Fame and celebrated alongside her wonderful family. Chelsea and her husband Chad are the proud parents of Knox, Ryker and Baby #3 (due in February). Due to rotating military assignments, the Treboniak family claims home as wherever the heart resides. Chelsea and Chad own their own business named Critical Ops, which is in its third year of operations.
