Dale Wennberg

Dale Wennberg is a 1960 graduate of Lincoln High School. His senior year he was co-captain of the football and hockey teams. He participated in the Minnesota State High School League Track Meet and also in two MSHSL Hockey Tournaments.

     A four-year letter winner in hockey, he was named to the 1959 All-Tournament Team and the 1960 WCCO All-State Team. In 1960, Dale set the single season scoring record with 70 points in hockey.

     Dale has coached all levels of TRF Youth and High School hockey. As an official, he refereed seven Minnesota State High School League Tournaments and three North Dakota State Hockey Tournaments.

     Dale has been active in the community. He retired from the Volunteer Fire Department after 20 years of service, served on the City Park Board since 1976 and is a Director on the TRF Education Foundation. Dale is presently serving his third term on City Council.
