Dennis Rolle

DENNIS E. ROLLE COACH/ATHLETIC DIRECTOR 1994

 Dennis Rolle graduated in 1948 from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Education and in 1949 with a Masters in Education. He was a letter winner in hockey at Eveleth High School and at the University of Minnesota.

     From 1949-1956 he was employed by Lincoln high School as physical education and health teacher, head hockey coach, and director of guidance.

     As head hockey coach, his record was 119 wins-19 losses. From 1951 to 1956 his team played in five Minnesota State Tournaments. They were State Champions in 1954 and 1956; Consolation Champions in 1951 and 1955 and placed third in 1952.

     Dennis is a member of the University of Minnesota “M” Club and a recipient of the Minnesota State High School League Cliff Thompson Award, the State of Minnesota Order of the North Star and was named to the MSHSL Hockey Hall of Fame.
