Doug Dallmann graduated from Lincoln High School in 1978 where he played on varsity teams for four years in three different sports, including football, hockey and baseball. While at Lincoln, Doug received many athletic honors including being named the WCCO Prep Player of the Week in 1976 and being named to the NWAC All Conference Football Team in 1976 and 1977 and the WCCO All State Team in 1977. He was the first Prowler baseball player invited to the Lion’s All Star Series in 1978. He served as the Prowler football captain in 1977 and was named the “Most Valuable Player” in his senior year in hockey. Following high school graduation, Doug continued his athletic career at Northland Community College.

While Doug will always be remembered as a distinguished athlete at Lincoln High School, he is also recognized for his outstanding community service to the Thief River Falls School District and the youth of this community.  He has a great heart for Lincoln High School and a love of the history of Prowler athletics, spending a great deal of time collecting artifacts and historic information.  He has successfully collected jerseys, scrapbooks, and other memorabilia that he is working to display in different venues throughout the community.   He has become known as the keeper of Prowler history.

Doug, the owner and operator of Universal Screenprint, spends countless hours designing and producing t-shirts, hats, towels, sweatshirts and other items that are worn as a display of Prowler Pride in our community.  He, his wife Pam and son Adam work late into the night and on weekends to make sure that our returning championship teams have the items they need when they return home from their competitions.

Doug and his wife Pam reside in Thief River Falls and have two children Allison and Adam and two grandchildren. When not at work he and Pam tend the beautiful gardens they have created at home and host weddings in the church they brought in and restored.  They also own and operate The West End Garden Center where they share their love of gardening with the community.  Wherever he is and whatever he is doing, Doug is a constant reminder of what it means to take pride in one’s community and to truly be “Prowler Proud”.
