Elaine Bredehoft
Elaine graduated from Lincoln High School in 1977. While in high school, she was captain of both the debate and golf teams. She served in the Student Senate and was selected “Most Likely To Succeed.” She was awarded her B.A. degree from the University of Arizona in speech communication in 1981 and her J.D. degree from the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., in 1984.
In her college days at Arizona, Elaine was active in intercollegiate debate, including National Debate tournaments where she won several national tournament awards. At law school she was the associate editor of the Catholic University Law Review and a member of the Student Advisory Panel. She had legal internships and clerkships at both the Appellate Division of the Social Security Administration and the enforcement branch of the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission.
Today Elaine Charlson Bredehoft is listed as one of “Washingtons’s 50-Best lawyers,” as selected by their peers. In addition to Elaine’s education, legal employment, honors and awards, important legal cases, teaching activities, bar admissions and related activities, it should also be noted that Elaine has been included in every edition of Who’s Who in the World since 1991 and Who’s Who in American Law since 1990. She is also in Who’s Who in the United States and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest. Ms Charlson Bredehoft has certainly lived up to the expectations of her Lincoln High School Class of 1977’s “Most Likely to Succeed.”
