Kelly Dorr
Kelly Cornell Dorr is a 1988 graduate of Lincoln High School. After graduating from Lincoln, she attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Throughout her years at Lincoln and Concordia, Kelly exhibited an incredible athletic ability in three different sports.
Kelly’s athleticism was apparent in basketball, tennis, and golf. In golf and tennis, Kelly made three state appearances in each sport from sophomore through senior years in high school. At Concordia, she excelled in golf, tennis, and basketball. Kelly’s basketball team made two NCAA tournament appearances during her years at Concordia. As a college senior, her golf team won 2nd in nationals, and she was named an All-American.
Not only did she work to strengthen her sports skills in the off-season, she also taught youth tennis in the Thief River Falls Park and Recreation program. Even though she continually worked to improve her athletic skills, she remained an honor student throughout her high school and college career. Kelly’s constant dedication to her sports led her to a career in physical education.
Kelly currently teaches physical education in Princeton, Minnesota. She continues to coach tennis and in 1998 was named Section 7AA Girls’ Tennis Coach of the Year.
