Marchell Austin

Marchell Cuppett Austin is a 1978 graduate of Lincoln High School and a 1982 graduate of University of North Dakota.  She received her MA in Physical Education/Athletic Training at the University of Northern Iowa and is currently pursuing her Ed. D in Curriculum and Instruction there.

     While a student at Lincoln High School, Marchell was a letter winner in tennis, basketball and track.  She also served as captain of these sports.  She was a letter winner in basketball, softball and field hockey while attending UND.  At UND she holds school and conference records in multiple categories for goaltending.

     Marchell is currently serving as Assistant Athletic Trainer/Instructor at the University of Northern Iowa and is Athletic Trainer for football, wrestling and baseball.  She has written or co-authored numerous athletic training publications.
