Marlyn “Tony” Dorn graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944. He played football, hockey and track and was a captain of the hockey team. He was a member of the 1942 State Invitational Team, which won the championship. Tony played with the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team during 1944 and 1945.
While living in Thief River Falls, Tony has played hockey in the States-Dominion and Northwest Hockey Leagues for many years. He was a member of the All-Star Team, which won the US Senior Hockey Championship. He was the first youth hockey coach in Thief River Falls and was instrumental in organizing the youth hockey program.
